Bus Transfers To and From Dubrovnik Airport

When arriving at Dubrovnik Airport (DBV), please make sure to collect your entire luggge from the baggage claim area before proceeding to exit to landside and the chosen transfer option. Available options for transfer from the airport include rental cars, taxis, and buses.

Buses at Dubrovnik Airport

There are several options for bus transfer from the airport, including an option to transfer to other destinations.

The airport bus station is in a building located in front of the terminal, next to the main parking lot, a couple of minutes’ walk from the terminal. The journey time to Dubrovnik is approximately 30 minutes, but traffic can cause somewhat longer times, especially during rush hours and high season.

Official Shuttle Bus – The official shuttle bus runs between the airport’s terminal. There is a ticket counter located in the baggage claim area. The schedule for departure is 30 minutes after every flight arrival during the high season. The shuttle stops at Ploce Gate, Gruž main station and downtown Dubrovnik.

Public Bus Transportation – Public transportation buses are operating from the airport to Dubrovnik. These buses depart from the bus station a few times every day.

Korkyra Shuttle – This bus transfer option is a service between the airport and other destinations than Dubrovnik. These destinations are Orašac, Slano, Rapratno, Trpanj, Orebic, Korcula, Lumbarda, Brna and Vela Luka.

Departures are provided up to 8 times in both directions each day of the week.

Tickets can be purchased in several different ways. The recommended option is to reserve your ticket as the places are limited. This can be done through the company’s website, https://dubrovniktokorcula.com/, or by sending an email to shuttle@korkyra.info. There is also a ticket counter located on the right-hand side after exiting the baggage claim area, and it is possible to also buy the ticket directly on the bus from the bus driver in case the ticket counter is closed upon arrival.

Departures take place after passengers arrive from regular air lines. There are two times listed for each departure. The first indicates when the shuttle is ready for boarding, and the second is the estimated time of departure. However, the bus will leave when it is full if that is before the estimated departure time or wait for delayed flights and for passengers with purchased tickets to collect their luggage.

The company may add departures upon request, but all departures are subject to having at least two passengers. Extra departures are announced three days ahead of time.

Round trip tickets can be reserved in advance through the company’s agencies and allow for a 5% discount.

Transportation is insured for passengers who have made their reservation. Reservations can be made up until 12 hours before the planned departure.

Hotel Shuttles at DBV Airport

Many of the hotels in Dubrovnik provide an airport shuttle service so their guests can transfer from the airport to the accommodation, and back, with convenience. These transfers are requested by the traveler/hotel guest in advance. Most hotels charge an additional fee for the service, but some might offer it free of charge.
