Dubrovnik Airport (DBV) is an international airport serving the city of Dubrovnik in Croatia. The airport has one single terminal. The terminal used to be two terminals, Terminal A and Terminal B, which have been connected to each other into one bigger terminal that houses all domestic and international flights, arriving and departing.

Dubrovnik is located on an exclave in the most southern part of Croatia. It sits on the coastline of the Adriatic Sea close to the border of Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as the border of Montenegro.

When arriving at DBV Airport, please remember to collect your luggage from the baggage claim area before exiting airside to enter landside.

The airport has a Business Lounge available to passengers through a lounge membership program with options of paying for temporary access. The Lounge is located in the old Terminal A building on the airside.

Transfers at Dubrovnik Airport

Rental Cars – Several car rental companies are located in and around the airport offering their services to travelers. The car rental car park is located behind the bus car park that sits right opposite the terminal.

Some rental car companies are open during the entirety of the airport’s opening hours while other rental car companies are open during parts of the airport’s opening hours. It is recommended to book your rental car before arriving at the airport to make sure the vehicle you want is available and ready for you upon your arrival. Buses – The airport has a bus station that is located opposite the terminal building next to the main car park. This is where all buses depart from and where all buses arrive to.

An official shuttle bus route is available to transfer between the airport and the center of Dubrovnik. A ticket counter is situated in the baggage claim area. Tickets are approximately 15€ for a single journey. Shuttles depart from the airport regularly during the day adjusted to arriving flights. Public transportation bus routes serve the airport and different areas of Dubrovnik, but these routes might only operate seasonally. When they are in operation there are a few departures each day.

Korkyra Shuttle operates a bus route between the airport and the destinations of Slano, Prapratno, Trpanj, Orebic, Korcula, Lumbarda, Brno and Vela Luka located along the coast line north of Dubrovnik. Buses depart up to 8 days a day timed to after the arrival of scheduled flights. 3 departures are scheduled for each day, but it is possible to contact the company to add departures. Added departures will be announced 3 days ahead of the day.

Hotel Shuttles are organized by the hotels. Each hotel organizes their own shuttle service if they offer the service to their guests. Some of the accommodations might offer this service free of charge while most will charge an additional fee for the service.

Taxis – Taxi cabs are available during the airport’s opening hours at the taxi ranks located outside the domestic as well as the international arrivals areas. The journey from the airport to central Dubrovnik takes approximately 30 minutes and will cost around 50€. In heavy traffic hours the journey can take up to around one hour. Private transfers are offered by private companies to the airport’s visitors. To book a private transfer, travelers or their representative have to book it directly with the chosen company. These transfers can be a smaller vehicle, larger vehicle, or luxurious vehicles.

Ride share is available through Uber. Transfers have to be requested through Uber’s smartphone application upon arriving at the airport.

Trains - There is no train station at the airport, nor is there one in Dubrovnik. The closest train station is located in Podgorica in Montenegro 3 hours from Dubrovnik.
